Carol Mattul started in the mortgage business in 1980 as a loan processor, and then a loan officer.  She shares, “The last loan I took was at 21% interest, 30 year fixed, with 3 points and the people were thrilled to get it.  How times have changed!”

From 1993 to 1999 she ran her own mortgage processing business. “I met with Mortgage Brokers, Credit Unions, and Banks to develop a working relationship.  I played a key role in taking the loan from application through closing, and I maintained knowledge of all loan programs with the various lenders,” says Carol.  In 2006 she worked at First Magnus Financial Corporation opening incoming loan packages and preparing them for underwriting. 

“In 2007 I decided to move from Mortgage to REO.  I worked for Wachovia as a REO Sales Representative where I opened and maintained a file on each property after it went through the foreclosure process and through to the sale of the property.  My states included Missouri, Illinois, Ohio, Kansas and Kentucky,” she shares. “Finally, I came to work for First Integrity in the Post Closing department.  Here I prepare the closed loans for shipment to the Investor, and clear any conditions that may arise.” 

Carol enjoys working for a company that takes care of its clients, “To everyone here, the customer is always first, and we strive hard to make their loan process a pleasant experience.”
